Air Europa is the airline of Globalia, which is a leading Spanish tourism group being his founder Juan José Hidalgo. On November 23, 1986, Air Europa operated its first flight between Tenerife and London. It has since grown to become the reference airline for flights between Europe and America. On September 1, 2007, Air Europa joined the SkyTeam alliance. Air Europa's fleet is one of the most modern on the continent. It is composed of 47 aircraft whose average age does not exceed 4 years.
